Like many travelers, I fell in love with the vibrant energy of Marrakech, and suddenly it became clear — I had to create my very own riad. A place where I could welcome people from every corner of the globe, share stories, exchange cultures, and make them feel at home in the Marrakech Medina, my new city of adoption.

From the challenge of finding the perfect location, imagining its décor, and shaping every detail of the experience I wanted to offer, this journey has been both demanding and deeply fulfilling. I have never felt more alive than through this adventure, and today, it is with great joy that I open the doors of Riad Solange to you.

A warm welcome, the kindness and professionalism of the hosts, a very convenient location (easy to reach by taxi), an excellent breakfast, and stunning décor down to the smallest details… This riad is a true gem. Having stayed in several riads in Marrakech, I can confidently say that the level of comfort and service here rivals that of a small luxury hotel — yet it still feels just like home. We stayed there in the middle of winter, and although the common areas such as the courtyard can be a bit cool since they’re open to the sky, it didn’t bother me at all (and it must be delightful in summer!). It’s worth noting that the rooms are perfectly insulated, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable — a true cocoon you never want to leave! I’ll be returning with great pleasure, next time for a longer stay.
We had a wonderful week-long stay at Riad Solange. The riad is beautifully decorated, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the location is perfect — close to the souk yet tucked away in a quiet alley, making it a truly peaceful haven. It instantly feels like home.
Hélène is absolutely lovely, and her team is just as amazing — always attentive, kind, and smiling.
We had dinner at the riad several times, and if you’re hesitating, don’t — the food is excellent, far better than in most restaurants.

Whilst in Marrakech last month we split our time between two amazing places. both were completely different in feel but Riad Solange was one of the most incredible places i have stayed and photographed. The light and attention to detail was next level which matched the hospitality perfectly.
